Why are you selling?
We’ve had the car for five years now. It was used regularly for a 6 mile commute and shopping runs etc, but now my wife works from home and we’ve got other cars, there’s no need to keep this one.
I’ve seen other 106s for sale for less. Why should I buy yours?
This car is a Rallye limited edition (number 313 of 500 sold in the UK). We’ve looked after the car, it’s not been modified in any way, and it has always been treated with respect. This is a good example of a desirable, smart and charming little car that oozes motorsport pedigree.
Is the car modified in any way?
No, this car is completely standard. It’s so rare to find an unmolested version of this car – it’s just as Peugeot made it! It’ll even come with the original stereo.
What’s the fuel economy like?
About 30mpg around town, more out on the open road.
I’ve got some more questions…
No problem. You can email me at any time. I’m more than willing to take specific photos of requested features.
It sounds great. Can I come and see it?
Of course. The car is at my house in Woking, Surrey, and can be viewed most weekends and evenings. However, don’t expect a test drive unless you can prove you’ve got comprehensive cover.
Will you take an offer?
Near offers will be considered, but I think that a viewing will prove that the asking price is good value!
Is ti dear to insure?
Hi Tom. The wife’s last policy cost under £300 for the pair of us. Depends what you’re used to I suppose, but compared with the other cars in the family, it’s incredibly cheap to insure, especially when its performance is taken into account!
Hi,
Would you accept a swap for my mitsubishi FTO?
Standard apart for a set of 17″ wheels with new tyres.
Loads of history and a long MOT
Let me know.
Chris
Hi Chris,
I’m afraid not – we’ve got too many cars as it is!
Thanks for reading,
Neil.
