2007 Subaru Impreza GB270 Wagon

£8,700 SOLD – Please note this car is no longer for sale

Here is my 2007 Subaru Impreza GB270 for sale. I bought the car in January 2012, at which time it had 29,500 miles on the clock. Since then I’ve done 7,500 miles.

As soon as I got the car I replaced the front brakes, and I swapped the cassette stereo for a touch screen DVD item as shown in the pictures. The car is for sale with this display, although I’m happy to put the original cassette stereo back in if that’s preferable.

The car has relatively recently had a full service at Bell & Colville, Subaru specialists based in Horsley, and emerged with a clean bill of health. This service included a cam belt change and cost £625.

So to finish the advert, here are a few commonly asked questions:

Why are you selling?

I’d always wanted an Impreza, and I’ve been proud to own this excellent example of a limited edition for well over a year and a half now. However it’s time for me to move on to explore something new. There’s nothing wrong with the car – it’s a low mileage example in good condition. My itch has now been scratched so I’d like to see it move on to another good home.

I’ve seen other Impreza estates for sale for less. Why should I buy yours?

This car is a limited edition car in A1 condition. It’s the very best Impreza estate ever available in the UK. I’ve looked after the car, anything that’s not right is fixed / replaced straight away. It’s kept in the garage over winter to protect it from the elements, and offers a level of specification, equipment and appearance rarely found among other examples.

Is the car modified in any way?

Like all GB270s, this car was originally sold by Subaru with the Prodrive Performance pack. This gives it an extra 40bhp, a quickshift 5-speed gearbox, Prodrive upgraded suspension (30mm lower at the front, 10mm lower at the rear), Prodrive anti-roll bar, polished stainless steel front mesh grille, and a bespoke set of black 18″ Prodrive wheels. This car has not been modified from that standard GB270 specification.

What’s the fuel economy like?

Given the performance available, it’s pretty good. Clearly if you drive it hard around town, it’ll return very few miles to the gallon. However on a run in fifth gear, it can return around 30 MPG.

I’ve got some more questions…

No problem. You can email me at any time. I’m more than willing to take specific photos of requested features.

It sounds great. Can I come and see it?

Of course. The car is at my house in Woking, Surrey, and can be viewed most weekends and evenings. However, don’t expect a test drive unless you can prove you’ve got comprehensive cover.

Will you take an offer?

Near offers will be considered, but I think that a viewing will prove that the asking price is good value!
