I woke up at 6am. By 6:30am I was bored of trying to get back to sleep, and thought I’d spend the time more wisely by investigating the quantity of snow on the high ground. So off I went! It was a beautiful dawn, the sun glistening on the snow capped peaks.

I decided to investigate the Kirkstone pass, as that’s suitably high. I gathered the following evidence:
